Competition Rules for the Canal Festival
Willebroek Kanaalfeesten— 26 & 27 June 2026
Article 1 — Organiser
This exciting promotion is organised by Ecofix Gas & Power, Kunstlaan 56, 1000 Brussels, VAT BE.1011.812.443. The action will take place at the lively Kanaalfeesten in Willebroek on 26 and 27 June 2025.
Article 2 — Participation
– Participation is completely free and there is absolutely no obligation to buy anything!
– Participation is open to anyone aged 18 or over who lives in Belgium.
– Every participant can have a spin of the wheel once a day.
– Staff members of Ecofix Gas & Power are excluded from taking part.
– By joining in, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Article 3 — The grand prize: '1 year of free energy'
The grand prize consists of an energy credit of €208 per month for 12 consecutive months. Total value: €2,500. This credit will be deducted monthly from the winner's energy bill with Ecofix Gas & Power.
– The prize is personal and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
– The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other products or services.
– To receive the prize, the winner must have an active contract with Ecofix Gas & Power at the time of payment, or sign up for one within 30 days of being notified about their win.
– If the contract is ended before the 12 months are up, any remaining credit will unfortunately be forfeited.
– The monthly credit cannot exceed that month's bill amount; any remaining balance cannot be carried over to the following month.
Article 4 — Tiebreaker & Winner
Tiebreaker: "What is the average monthly energy bill in euros for a Belgian household?"
The winner will be the participant with the closest guess! In the event of a tie, a lucky draw will decide.
– Participants landing on the '1 year of free energy' slot must fill in their name, contact details and their answer to the tiebreaker on the entry form, and hand it to an Ecofix staff member at our stand.
– The winner is determined by the closest guess to the tiebreaker. In case of a tie, the winner will be chosen via a lucky draw at the Ecofix Gas & Power office, drawn by an impartial Ecofix team member!
– The happy winner will be announced during the week following the Kanaalfeesten (by Friday 4 July 2025 at the latest) and will receive a written confirmation via email.
– If the winner cannot be reached within 14 calendar days after the event or decides to decline the prize, the prize will unfortunately expire without any right to compensation.
Article 5 — Other provisions
– Ecofix reserves the right to modify or stop this promotion in the event of force majeure or for other valid reasons, without this giving rise to any compensation. We appreciate your understanding!
– Please note that no correspondence will be entered into regarding the results.
– Your personal data will only be used to handle this lovely promotion and will never be shared with third parties, fully in line with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
– This promotion is governed by Belgian law. Any disputes will be happily resolved by the competent courts of Brussels.
